Specificity
History and philosophy of the brewery | We are the only sake brewery in Ise, founded in Okage Yokocho, near the inner shrine of Ise Jingu, with a spirit of gratitude, called “okage” in Japanese, towards Ise-san. We have named our flagship product “Okagesama” in reference to the deities of Ise to show our gratitude towards nature and the excitement of the pilgrimage to Okagesama. Our goal is to make sake as pure as the surface of the Isuzu River, which flows through the sacred area of the Ise Jingu Shrine. |
Production features | We can produce a pure and sweet sake by using the water from the basement of the Isuzu River, which flows through the sacred area of the Ise Jingu Shrine. We also have facilities that allow us to brew throughout the four seasons, so that our customers can enjoy new sake at any time. |
Tasting Characteristics | It is sweet on the palate and has a light fruity aroma while being very dry on the palate, making it a perfect companion to all your dishes. |
